Legal Disclaimer

Participation in this tennis ladder and any tournaments we hold is at the player's own risk. By registering for this ladder, you agree to the following Liability Release Statement:

"I do hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wout Meeuwissen, Tim Davis, and Frank Meeuwissen, the WTF Tennis organization, and the Delaware Tennis Ladder, from and against any and all liability for any injuries which may be incurred by me (us) arising out, or in any way connected with, my (our) participation on this ladder."

Registration Liability Waiver

Participation in this tennis ladder and any tournaments we hold is at the player's own risk, including without limitation the risk of physical injury and being exposed to other participants or spectators infected with COVID-19 or other illnesses and contracting such an illness.

By registering for this ladder, you agree to the following Liability Release Statement:

"In exchange for being permitted to participate in this tennis ladder, I (we) accept and assume for myself, my heirs, guardians, and legal representatives all the risks of injury, including, without limitation, bodily injury, sickness, disfigurement and dismemberment, or death to me (us), or damage to property incurred by me (us) resulting from my (our) participation in the WTF Tennis / Delaware Tennis Ladder (collectively, “Injury”).

I represent and warrant that I (we) have the requisite capacity, power and authority to give this release, and I (we) do hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless and release, and agree not to make, bring, aid or permit any claim, cause of action or suit in law or equity of any kind whatsoever against Wout Meeuwissen, Tim Davis, Frank Meeuwissen, the WTF Tennis organization, the Delaware Tennis Ladder and each other individual or entity associated with the organization, from and against any and all liability for any Injury which may be incurred by me (us) arising out, or in any way connected with, my (our) participation on this ladder."

Code of Conduct & Platform Rules

1. Fair Play & Sportsmanship

WTF Tennis is a community built on respect. We reserve the right to suspend or ban any player who exhibits unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, sandbagging (intentionally losing to manipulate rankings), or abusive behavior towards other players or administrators.

2. Venue & Facility Liability

WTF Tennis is a software platform and organizing body. We do not own, operate, or maintain the tennis courts where matches are played. Players are responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the public or private facilities they choose to play at. We are not liable for court conditions or availability.

3. Score Disputes

Matches are self-officiated and scores are self-reported. In the event of a dispute, the Ladder Administrators reserve the final right to adjudicate, nullify, or adjust match results to preserve the integrity of the ladder.
